Fertilizer beneath the North York Moors causing issues

You might think of fertilizer as a man made product but the best type actually comes from within the Earth. In North York Moors the world’s largest deposit of natural agricultural fertilizer has been discovered and there is great desire for it. It’s so potent in assisting growth that many believe it could help to provide food for millions of hungry humans around the world.
It’s tough to get it out of the ground though, thus the UK environmental issue surrounding it. An international mining company would like to explore how to remove it and cash in on the more than $500 billion dollar value of the fertilizer on the open market. However, the land it’s under is a national park and there’s great controversy over digging around and no doubt ruining part of what makes North York Moors so special.
